Track and manage defects directly in TestKase.
Overview
TestKase provides built-in defect management for teams that do not need to push defects to an external issue tracker. You can create defects during test execution or manually, assign priority and status, link them to test cases and requirements, and track them through your resolution workflow -- all within TestKase.
Key Capabilities
- Create defects during execution or manually -- Log defects directly from a failed test execution step, or create them manually from the defects list.
- Set priority and status -- Assign severity levels (Blocker, Critical, Major, Minor, Trivial) and track status through the defect lifecycle (Open, In-Progress, Closed, Achieved).
- Link to test cases and requirements -- Establish traceability by linking defects to the test cases that uncovered them and the requirements they affect.
- Track workflow -- Monitor defects from discovery through resolution with status transitions and audit history.
