Configuration
Configure TestKase at both the organization and project level — manage users, billing, permissions, custom fields, and integrations.
Overview
TestKase configuration is organized into two levels that mirror how the platform itself is structured: Global Settings for organization-wide administration, and Project Settings for per-project customization. This separation ensures that organization owners can manage billing, users, and AI credits in one place, while project leads can independently configure fields, permissions, and integrations for their specific projects.
Understanding which settings live at each level helps you find the right configuration page quickly and ensures changes are scoped correctly — an organization-wide change (like inviting a user) is different from a project-scoped change (like adding a custom field).
Global Settings
Global Settings control organization-level configuration that applies across all projects. These settings are primarily managed by the Organization Owner, though some are accessible to all members (like profile settings).
Projects
Create, edit, and delete projects within your organization
Invitation & Users
Invite users by email, manage the organization roster, and assign roles
Profile & Password
Update your display name, timezone, and change your password
Billing & Subscriptions

Project Settings
Project Settings control configuration that is scoped to a single project. Each project has its own independent settings, so changes in one project do not affect others. Project Admins and the Owner can manage these settings.

Add up to 10 custom fields (text, dropdown, date, number) to test cases
User Permissions
Configure role-based access control and granular permissions per role
Integrations
Connect Jira, GitHub, GitLab, webhooks, CI/CD, and API keys
