Project Settings

Configure custom fields, field defaults, permissions, and integrations for individual projects.

Overview

Project Settings control configuration that is scoped to a single project. Each project in your organization has its own independent settings, so changes in one project do not affect others. These settings are accessible from the Settings sidebar within any project. Project Admins and the Owner can manage project-level settings.

Project settings let you customize how test cases capture data (via custom fields and field configuration), who can do what within the project (via user permissions), and how the project connects to external tools (via integrations).

Custom Fields

Define up to 10 custom fields to capture domain-specific test case metadata

Field Defaults

Set default values for status, priority, severity, and other built-in fields

Field Configuration

Toggle field visibility and set mandatory flags for built-in fields

User Permissions

Configure role-based access control with granular per-action toggles

Integrations

Connect Jira, GitHub, GitLab, webhooks, CI/CD pipelines, and API keys
