Reports

Every completed scan — Website Scanner, Authenticated, or Workflow Analyzer — renders the same report structure, so the muscle memory carries across scan modes.

One difference: a Website Scanner report has three tabs — Summary, All Issues and History (n). A Workflow Analyzer report saved from the Chrome Toolkit has two — Summary and All Issues. A toolkit capture is a one-off, so there is no run history, no version comparison and no PDF export for it.

The layers of a report

1. Summary & score — 0–100 score, severity breakdown, affected pages, affected components, issues by category, and the needs-review / hidden counters.
2. WCAG conformance matrix — No issues found / Issues found for each WCAG 2.1 A + AA criterion.
3. Issue list — the All Issues tab: filter and group issues by rule or by WCAG criterion.
4. Issue details — per-element rule explanation, failure summary, selector and HTML snippet.
5. Element inspection — the page snapshot inside the issue detail drawer, with the failing element outlined.
6. History — every run of this scan, with score-over-time. See below.

Versions and the History tab

Re-running a scan does not overwrite the report. Each run is a new version of the same scan, and the report you open is the latest one — the header reads Latest (v3 of 7). A third tab, History (n), lists them all.

The History tab carries:

• Stat cards — Total Scans (last 30 days), Avg Score, 7-Day Trend, Failures.
• Score over time — a line chart of every completed run. Filter it to 7 / 30 / 90 days or all time.
• The runs table — #, Date & Time, Trigger (Manual or Scheduled), Score, Issues, Δ (score change against the previous run), Status, Author. Click a row to open that version's report.
• Export CSV — the run history as a spreadsheet. See Export formats.
• Delete — remove selected runs. Creator only, and the base version cannot be deleted from here — deleting the scan itself removes the whole group.

Anyone the scan is shared with can read the History tab; only the creator can delete from it.

Comparing and consolidating

From the History tab you can tick two runs and Compare them — every issue is sorted into New, Retained or Resolved. Separately, ticking two or more scans in the Website Scanner list gives you a single Consolidated report.

Both are covered in Comparing & consolidating scans. Note that comparison is creator-only: a scan shared with you opens as a report and its History tab is readable, but you cannot run a version comparison on someone else's scan.

Exports

A single report exports as a PDF summary or a CSV summary; the History tab exports its run list as CSV; and a consolidated report has its own PDF and CSV. None of them contains per-issue detail. See Export formats.
