Manage your organization, team, roles, product access, and account settings.

Organization & Account

Your TestKase organization is the top-level container for your team, projects, and product access.

Organization Structure

When you sign up, an organization is automatically created for you. As the creator, you become the Owner.

  • One organization per account — Each user belongs to one organization
  • Auto-created on signup — No manual setup needed (named "Your Name's Organization")
  • Products assigned per user — Control who can access Test Management and Accessibility

Organization Name

You can rename your organization from Organization Settings (available to Owner and Admin).

Deleting an Organization

Only the Owner can delete an organization. This permanently removes:

  • All projects and their data (test cases, cycles, results)
  • All team memberships and invitations
  • All associated data

To delete: Go to Organization Settings → scroll to bottom → Delete Organization → type "delete" to confirm.

Removed Users

When a user is removed from an organization:

  • Their product access and project memberships are revoked
  • An access removal email is sent
  • If they have no other organizations, their account type changes to "normal"
  • On their next login, a new organization is automatically created for them — they become an independent Owner again

Key Concepts

Team Roles

TestKase uses a two-tier role model:

Organization Roles determine what a user can do at the platform level:

  • Owner — Full control. Billing, delete org, all products.
  • Admin — Manage team, all projects, all products. Cannot delete org or manage billing.
  • Member — Access only assigned projects with their project-level role.

Project Roles (TMT only) determine what a user can do within a project:

  • Project Admin — Manage project settings and permissions.
  • User — Standard project access (configurable).
  • Guest — Read-only access.

Product Access

Each team member can be granted access to:

  • Test Management — Seat-based (limited by your plan)
  • Accessibility Testing — Unlimited

Admins automatically have access to both products.
