Overview
Manage your organization, team, roles, product access, and account settings.
Your TestKase organization is the top-level container for your team, projects, and product access.
Organization Structure
When you sign up, an organization is automatically created for you. As the creator, you become the Owner.
- One organization per account — Each user belongs to one organization
- Auto-created on signup — No manual setup needed (named "Your Name's Organization")
- Products assigned per user — Control who can access Automate, Live, Test Management, Accessibility, and Visual
Organization Name
Open Organization → Members and click the pencil icon beside your organization's name. Owners and Admins can rename an organization; names are limited to 40 characters.
The Organization → Settings page is owner-only and holds only the Danger zone — Transfer ownership and Delete organization.
Deleting an Organization
Only the Owner can delete an organization. This permanently removes:
- All projects and their data (test cases, cycles, results)
- All team memberships and invitations
- All associated data
Deleting an organization also cancels the organization's paid subscriptions, so you are not left paying for a plan attached to an organization that no longer exists. The cancellation is immediate, not at the end of the cycle — you do not serve out the period you have already paid for, and there is no refund for it.
Check your bank or card statement after deleting an organization with a live subscription. The cancellation is sent to the payment provider after the organization is already gone, so if that call fails there is nothing left to retry it and nothing in the app to tell you — the organization is deleted either way. It is rare, but the only thing that proves you stopped being charged is your next statement. If a charge appears, contact support with the transaction id and we will cancel the mandate.
To delete: Go to Organization → Settings → scroll to the Danger zone → Delete Organization → type "delete" to confirm.
There is no way to undo it and no grace period. An organization is deleted the moment you confirm — there is no soft-delete, no recycle bin and no window in which support can restore it.
The deletions you can trigger yourself are: the owner deletes the organization, the owner deletes their account, or the owner accepts an invitation to join a different organization. TestKase can also delete an organization from its own admin tools — for example when acting on an abuse report or a legal request.
Deleting an organization does not delete your free device-minute allowance. The free 15 minutes per product are keyed to the owner's email address, so they survive deleting and recreating an organization. See Usage & minutes.
Removed Users
When a user is removed from an organization:
- Their product access and project memberships are revoked
- An access removal email is sent
- On their next login, a new organization is automatically created for them — they become an independent Owner again
Key Concepts
Team Roles
TestKase uses a two-tier role model:
Organization Roles determine what a user can do at the platform level:
- Owner — Full control. Billing, delete org, all products.
- Admin — Manage team, all projects, all products. Cannot delete org or manage billing.
- Member — Access only assigned projects with their project-level role.
Project Roles (TMT only) determine what a user can do within a project:
- Project Admin — Manage project settings and permissions.
- User — Standard project access (configurable).
- Guest — Read-only access.

Each team member can be granted access to any of the five products:
- Automate — Selenium and Playwright on real browsers and real phones
- Live — Manual testing on real devices and browsers
- Test Management — Seat-based (limited by your plan)
- Accessibility Testing — Free, unlimited users
- Visual — Screenshot comparison, one flat plan for the whole organization
Admins automatically have access to all products.
