Support & Notifications

Create support tickets and view system notifications for releases, downtime, and announcements.

Overview

TestKase provides a built-in support request form and a system notification feed to keep you informed about platform updates, scheduled maintenance, and important announcements. Both are available to all organization members.

Support Requests

If you encounter an issue, have a question, or need assistance, you can send a support request directly from within TestKase.

Create a Support Request

  1. Click Support at the bottom of the left sidebar, or go to testkase.com/support.
  2. The page shows the name and email address the request will be sent from.
  3. Fill in Description — the only field. Include what you did, what happened, and any project, session or scan id.
  4. Click Submit. You'll see "Issue Submitted Successfully", and the team replies by email.

There is no subject line, no category and no in-app ticket list — the reply comes to your email.

Because Description is the only field, put everything in it — screenshots can't be attached here, so describe the browser you were using, the steps to reproduce, and any error text you saw. Ids (project, session, scan) get you a faster answer than anything else.

System Notifications

System notifications keep you informed about platform-level events that may affect your workflow. They appear in the panel behind the notification bell in the top bar.

Notification Types

TypeDescriptionExample
ReleaseNew feature announcements and platform updates"Version 2.5 released — new AI Agent and webhook integration"
DowntimeScheduled maintenance windows and service disruptions"Scheduled maintenance on March 15, 2026 from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC"
InfoGeneral announcements, tips, and important notices"New documentation available for CI/CD integration setup"

Managing Notifications

Click the bell to open the panel. Opening it marks everything as read and clears the badge — there is no per-notification read toggle, no filter and no bulk action. The panel lists the ten most recent announcements, split into New and Earlier, each with a rocket (release), warning triangle (downtime) or info icon. With nothing to show it reads "Nothing to catch up on".

System notifications are platform-wide and cannot be individually configured. For project-specific notifications (like test execution events), see Webhook Integration.

Emails We Send

Some TestKase email is transactional and always sent; the rest is scheduled and can be switched off.

The weekly digest and daily summary come even on quiet days — the email just says nothing happened. They're sent only to organizations with an active paid subscription; free minutes or granted access don't count.

Email Preferences

Open the profile menu (top-right) → Email Preferences and untick what you don't want. It saves straight away.

What you will see

You only see switches for emails you actually get:

SwitchWho sees it
Weekly digestOwners and Admins of an organization with a paid subscription
Daily summaryOwners and Admins of an organization with a paid subscription
Onboarding emailsPeople who signed up themselves (not invited users)
Product updatesEveryone

A missing switch means you don't get that email, so there's nothing to turn off.

Other ways to opt out

  • Click unsubscribe at the bottom of any of these emails — no sign-in needed.
  • Your choices are only for you. Your teammates keep getting their own copies.
  • Changed your mind? Tick the box again.

You can't turn off account and billing emails — login codes, password changes, invitations, invoices and payment problems always arrive.
