Managing Subscriptions

The Subscriptions and Billing settings pages — the five product tabs, what each one does, and who can see what.

Overview

Billing and subscription management lives under Organization → Subscriptions (and Organization → Billing for the transaction log) — switch the sidebar to the Organization view to reach them. Only the organization owner can manage subscriptions; both entries are greyed out for anyone else, with the tooltip "Only the organization owner can access this", and opening the page directly shows "Access Restricted — Only the organization owner can manage subscriptions."

TestKase bills each product independently:

Automate — billed per parallel thread (Monthly or Yearly).
Live — billed per parallel thread (Monthly or Yearly).
Test Management — seat-based (Monthly or Yearly, 4–100 seats on Premium).
Accessibility Testing — free; scans run on your Live (manual) and Automate (scheduled) plans.
Visual — one flat plan for the whole organization (Monthly or Yearly), counted in screenshots compared.

All five products share billing history, invoices, and payment methods but are otherwise managed in separate tabs.

The Subscriptions page

The Organization → Subscriptions page has five products in a rail down the left (a scrollable row across the top on a narrow screen), in this order:

Live — thread count, billing cycle, upgrade / downgrade / cancel.
Automate — thread count, billing cycle, upgrade / downgrade / cancel.
Test Management — seat count, billing cycle, upgrade / downgrade / cancel.
Accessibility Testing — informational only: the product is free; the tab links to the Live/Automate plans that power scans. Nothing to buy or cancel.
Visual — one flat plan for the whole organization, so there is no thread or seat count to pick — choose Monthly or Yearly, or cancel.

Each tab renders plan cards when you don't have an active subscription, and a compact summary card when you do. See the public Pricing page for the plan matrix — every tab uses the same pricing configuration.

Enterprise plans are not purchasable from this page. They are created for your organization by TestKase after commercial terms are agreed — attempting to buy one returns "That plan is not available for self-service purchase." See Enterprise plans.

Who can see what

Any member can see their organization's entitlements — parallel sessions, plan tier, and subscription status. This is what tells a member why a session was refused or why the org is read-only.
Billing detail — invoices, receipts, transaction amounts, and the ability to subscribe, resize or cancel — is owner-only.

What a full flow looks like

Pick a product tab — you'll subscribe to each product independently.
Pick a billing cycle — Monthly or Yearly (save 17% on Yearly).
Set the count — seats on Test Management (4–100), parallel threads on Automate and Live (1–20). Accessibility has nothing to buy — it's free.
Click Subscribe / Upgrade to Premium and pay.
Subscription becomes Active on successful payment. Seats and threads are added once the payment is confirmed, which can take a moment.
