Asana
Connect Asana with a personal access token and file reports as tasks in a project.
Before you start
An Asana account with access to the project where tasks should be created. Any plan works.
Get a personal access token from Asana
- Go to app.asana.com/0/my-apps (or: your profile photo → Settings → Apps → Manage developer apps).
- Click + Create new token, name it TestKase, tick the agreement, and click Create token.
- Copy the token. It's shown once and starts with
1/.
Connect it in TestKase
- Open Organization → Integrations → Project management and click Connect on the Asana card.
- Paste the token and click Connect.
- Choose the project — every project the token can see, across all your workspaces, is listed. Click Save.
What gets created
A task in that project, created by the token's owner, with the report title as the task name and the pre-filled details as its description. The screenshot is attached to the task.
Troubleshooting
▶"Not a recognized ID" when filing
The default project was deleted or archived.
Fix: ⋮ → Edit and choose another project.
▶"Your project-management tool rejected the credentials"
Token revoked.
Fix: Create a new one, ⋮ → Reset, reconnect.
▶Filed, but the screenshot could not be attached
Asana's free plan limits attachment size.
Fix: The task exists; attach manually if needed.
