- Choose the default project. Click Save.
What gets created
A work item of type Bug in the chosen project: the report title as the title, the pre-filled details as the description, and the screenshot as an attachment.
Every work item is filed as a Bug. If your project's process requires custom fields on create, filing may fail — see Troubleshooting below.
Troubleshooting
▶"TF401232: Project does not exist" or similar
The organization name doesn't match, or the token's account can't see that project.
Fix: Recheck the organization segment in your Azure DevOps URL (dev.azure.com/<this part>), and confirm the account has access to the project.
▶Filing fails with a message about a required field
The project's process has a mandatory custom field on the Bug work item type.
Fix: Make the field optional in the process configuration, or add a default value for it.
▶"Your defect tracker rejected the credentials"
Token expired, revoked, or created without the Work Items scope.
Fix: ⋮ → Reset and reconnect with a fresh token.
